Our Primus Management Group culture is the foundation of our company’s success, and as such we make maintaining it one of our top priorities. One of the most effective strategies we have at our disposal for doing this involves team nights. At least once a week we do something that gets us together outside the office, such as bowling or laser tag, because we know that if our team members have strong relationships away from work, they will bring their bonds into the office and use them to motivate each other.
Another way in which we keep our Primus Management Group ethos strong is by setting quarterly goals together. Three months is just long enough to see some real progress being made, while at the same time short enough that it’s easy to maintain enthusiasm. These objectives give us a shared sense of purpose, and help each of us see how we’re contributing to the organization as a whole and to one another as well.
Feedback provides another useful method of keeping our office environment healthy. Our managers are always on the lookout for someone doing the right thing, and they’re generous with recognition. They’re also open to suggestions, which ensures that each team member feels heard.
